About Mr David Barnes:
Mr Barnes has over 20 years experience in the field of Plastic and Reconstructive surgery. Working in the world-renowned burns service of the St Andrews Centre for Burns and Plastic surgery, Broomfield hospital, Chelmsford, his primary sub-speciality interest is that of Paediatric and Adult Burns with secondary interests including major Abdominal Reconstruction and Hidradenitis Suppurativa.
Mr Barnes completed Specialist fellowships in Cosmetic and Reconstructive Surgery (TIG) and a yearlong Burns fellowship in the care of Paediatric and Adult burns with the National Burns Centre of New Zealand. He has multiple publications and has presented and taught nationally and internationally on aspects of plastic surgery.
