BFIRST Microsurgery Fellowship in India

BFIRST is now able to offer an annual microsurgery fellowship in Ganga Hospital, India under the supervision of Professor S Raja Sabapathy. The aim of this fantastic opportunity is to provide exposure and experience to microsurgery techniques in reconstructive surgery. It is the hope that successful applicants will then be able to develop and improve microsurgery services in their home country.

Fellowship Details

The fellowship will take place at the world renowned Ganga Hospital, 313 Mettupalayam Road, Coimbatore 641043, India. You can either choose to apply for a 6-week observership or a 6-month hands-on fellowship, which would involve application for a temporary medical licence to allow scrubbing in for the operations.

The BFIRST fellowship funding will cover travel accommodation and attendance. It is expected that successful applicants undertake the India fellowship alone, as regrettably BFIRST is unable to facilitate additional family members during the fellowship.
